Happy New Year!

Our Relationships

Welcome to 2023! We want to thank everyone for the support and love they provided our organization last year. Purpose Global Village was able to help meet the needs of children in two countries. One of the countries was Gambia, located in west Africa, and Ghana was the second. We established a sister foundation in Gambia to increase our ability to serve and provide for women and children. We are excited about the new relationships created and established in Gambia and look forward to serving families.

Our Relationships

Last year we expanded our support to include Rweru’s Women’s Group in Rwanda, a Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Support Centre in Botswana, and US-based Local Home-School Co-0p in Dallas. PGV was able to deliver much-needed school supplies to Nyariga Primary School in Ghana. Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were able to support women and children while expanding our reach across the globe.

Botswana Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Support Centre BGBVC supports women, men, girls and boys experiencing and affected by GBV in Botswana by providing temporary shelter, counselling, community outreach and education, and staff and volunteer development.

PGV Team members delivered much needed school supplies when schools re-opened in January 2021. The donation included text books, a musical keyboard, school supplies and soccer balls. This year our goal is to raise funds for classroom supplies, teacher supplies, and clothing to those in need.

International Women’s Day Clean Comedy

Purpose Global Village will participate in International Women’s Day Clean Comedy event on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Echoes In Los Angeles from 3:00-5:00 PM. If you’re in the Los Angeles area stop by and support this event and check out our new inventory! We brought many beautiful and壯陽藥 interesting items from Gambia, Ghana, and Senegal. July/August Madagascar Trip Canceled

June Concert & Madagascar Trip Postponed!

Our trip to Madagascar, Rwanda and Ghana have been postponed until Madagascar, Rwanda, and Ghana open their borders. Our initial plans were to travel on June 8, 2020 but the United States restricted travel. Then we rescheduled to July 5, 2020 but decided to cancel because the International Airport Transportation Association (IATA) displayed that Ghana, Madagascar, and Rwanda’s airports were closed to foreign travelers.

For the past 4 years we have promoted our Black Music Month Concert and held it in the month of June however; this year amid the CoronaVirus Pandemic we were forced to postpone this event. Our June concert provides most of the support for our organization in addition to website sales. Thank you to everyone who supports PGV through donations and purchasing items on our website. We are grateful and thankful for the suppo壯陽藥 rt! Your ongoing support will help us meet the needs of many school children and families in developing nations.

As soon as the borders open in Madagascar, Rwanda, and Ghana we will travel and connect with our partners and communities abroad, we miss our friends tremendously. We are looking forward to reconnecting soon!

Upcoming Plans

We will launch a new website to share travel information in late August, early September. Currently, we have an Instagram, Podcast, and Facebook account called African Travel and More.
